We agree on the automatic budget cuts should the politicians not agree. Obama doesn't want to go first on entitlements-- not without some shared responsibility. And that's as it should be because we're all in this together as far entitlements go. (You can't lead if others refuse to follow) Now I completely agree on the clarity needed on the budget and the choices required. But that's what the general election will be about--or should be about. And whomever the Republicans pick will hold Obama's feet to the fire on the clarity issue, BUT also have to provide some clarity themselves. And I can live with that. Let the (tough) debate begin. Hopefully as soon as Super Tuesday.
