Unless people can respect that others are just as conscientious and sincere as they are, there is no basis for discussion. It's just a war of supremacy.

Which is pretty much what the left is doing here. Pushing for supremacy, rather than respecting moral differences.

Take each sides view and see what they lose, if they lose in this case. Those who want the coverage to be forced are not themselves forced to do what they see as immoral, and they lose essentially nothing in practical terms. We are talking about people who can afford contraception, who will be effectively paying for it anyway, even if it is covered, and even if someone they couldn't afford it, there would be cheap of free contraception available to them. The only thing they lose out is the ability to force others to knuckle under to there ideas. I understand they sincely view their ideas as correct. I'm not disputing that. They are not psychopaths and they are not acting evilly according to their own morals. But they are the aggressors here. On the other hand if the church does lose out, they are forced to violate their moral principles.
