Those revenue comparisons were not against weaker results. Every quarter has been more profitable than the last for 10 years, with an average growth of 28% per year. Last quarter was especially good. About competitors. They are in the electronic components business, which means they have 1,000's of other businesses doing a similar thing, but not competing. The need for components is rising by huge percentages every year, and several companies are close to maxing out, including Unitrode. That's why their $36 million wafer facility will help them dramatically grow their revenue. This stock, which should have never fallen more than 50%, let alone 5%, will make a strong comeback, and set new highs by February. By February, everyone will see expected eps of $1.60 and forward eps of $2.00. It can't still be a $20 stock then.

I think SILI competes in some areas. SILI earnings have
been good lately. Check out the SILI thread.

Shane, your Value Line observation makes sense to me. Do you happen to have more details on their recent writeups?

Well as we both suspected, it did indeed break 18. Did you indeed double up? I did at 17 5/8. Would I had started at 21+, like you.

Regards,

Dave
