You will probably never converse with someone who is a bigger advocate of conservative concepts than yours truly, Gersh. Concepts such as unlimited gun rights, open carry, concealed carry, freedom, liberty, and an inconsequential government footprint in our lives. That aside, the dangers of a drugged dope addict like yourself wielding a loaded gun in the community are immeasurable. That's about as unstable as it gets, unless we decided to start handing out firearms to inpatients in the sanatorium.

What if you get high and wander out into the street one Sunday morning with your loaded gun? What if a defenseless family is driving down your street to Church and in your drugged, paranoid mind you believe that they are thugs coming to rob and kill you? What if you open fire killing everyone inside? Then what?

Your grieving family would be telling Diane Sawyer, "Gersh was a good man. He loved everybody. He never would have harmed a flea if it weren't for the drugs. The drugs are to blame, not Gersh. He couldn't help it. He was an addict and a victim."

Yep. Same old song and dance. I wish I had a dime for each time a drunk driver killed someone and his family and friends testified, "It was the booze, not him! He is as much of a victim as the family he accidentally killed." That same could be said for druggies. They're all good people and mean no harm, right? Wrong! -nfg-
