I remember when the steel industry put out studies that proved that the emissions from steel plants were good for the environment. That's why, when a rich family moves to a new city, they always specify a home near the steel plant. <G> Tobacco spun the health risk of smoking since Sir Walter Ralegh. In fact, I wouldn't doubt if Pochohantus's daddy wasn't already pimping for smoke in your lungs.

Soo, let's let's just park all the planes, cars and trucks.... shut down the power turbines and the rest of the polluting industry...problem solved...oh, and no wood burning either...

I look at the sky everyday and see all the crap in it, and think...jeez we're really screwing this place up...

Only reasonable solution is to go solar, fuel cells, safe nuke (if there is such a thing)...unfortunately that won't happen until the economics cause it to....seems like a long way off...

Like ticks on a dog, we've been sucking the life out of the earth for 'modern conveniences' and pumping crap into the air for centuries...and if not us it's mother nature with volcanos, forest fires or whatever...

Climate change (previously known as Global warming) has just become another political sham (on both sides)...
