I read a post on another thread in which the poster, for whom I have a lot of respect, said that those who've shorted a stock do not want the company (whose stock they've shorted) to prosper. Because if the company prospers, the stock price rises steadily. That, of course, hurts the shorter. This poster also said that attacking the fundamentals is the only weapon they have.

I feel this obviously applies here as we've all taken so many hits, so much badgering, on this thread with the picking apart at the fundamentals. I only disagree with what this poster said - or more appropriately would like to add - that there are additional weapons. Like bogus news releases, bogus lawsuits and the like.

And no one here needs reminding of that as we've "seen it all" as to the lengths the shorters will go. So why am I posting this? I guess to once again put into perspective, and in a nutshell, the attributes of what we are enduring here.

GO RMIL!!

Ellen:

Thank you for your question concerning my interest here.

I find this thread fulfilling in a variety of ways:

Its educational:

You can learn more about BB stock investing and DD here than in a library of investment books. Tonto's posts alone are worth the price of admission. There are also lessons in the psychology of investing that can be gleaned from the posts.

Its entertaining:

The point/counter point repartee is fascinating. There is also the fascination of seeing the RMIL story unfold from day to day. The group dynamics are also interesting. From time to time some of the yea-sayers, nay-sayers, sway-sayers and others notice that they share a common interest in getting at the truth behind RMIL. When that happens their joint efforts can accomplish a lot. Unfortunately it doesn't happen all that often.

Perhaps you were also asking why I post here. I feel that any member of a community who benefits from the community should also contribute to it.

Best wishes for success with RMIL and all of your other investments,
