A four year low, coming off a recession that started to gather steam about 4 years ago. Hardly a surprise. If it wasn't at a four year low it would be a very bad sign. To be a good sign unemployment (or better yet employment as a percentage of the population, since unemployment rates go down when people drop of of the workforce, not just when they get jobs) would have to be at something like a 5 year low (and not a year from now, every day, would add another day to the time period in question).
