So how do we make it work then? When you visit a doctor or a hospital, it usually is not a choice. Do you really want to go to the lowest priced provider? It's different buying a used car with bad motor when you are poor - and needing a liver transplant (get your liver here - 200 rebates). For society to provide the best care for the cheapest price - how does that work with doctors charging unlimited amounts and insurance companies paying them and recovering the amount - with a profit - from rate payers and the government? ...........I don't have the answer.
