Yes, very interesting. I admire Dolley Madison even more when reading more about what she actually did under British fire. Her husband was out of town. He sent a messenger for her to leave the White House immediately as the British were coming. She packed some of the important possessions the WH had, and took down the famous picture of George Washington. Had the picture cut from the frame, then rushed out with the few that were left in the WH.....As we all know, she saved the items for America including the picture of Washington just before the WH was burned down. en.wikipedia.org
