Jer, semi equipmaker stocks will be moving according to the market's perception of the impact of the fallout from the Asian currency situation. Last week was dust from options expiry, next week will be a short holiday week with light trading volume. The true trend will emerge thereafter. As a long-term investor with shares, no need to worry about optimal entry. As an options investor/trader one should watch for the trend to turn. Latest VL says to sell AMAT puts? Dang, they must be reading my posts. What month and which strike? btw, one of the best candlestick technicians was Don Parks who used to be a regular at SI long ago. He and I used to chat about stocks thru the mist of candlesticks and wine.
