Nothing would do more for our economy than becoming energy independent. NOTHING. In the last four years we've had huge discoveries of domestic oil. Just last week SWN announced the discovery of 30 BILLION bbls, 3 billion estimated to be recoverable, in S Arkansas. (And I'm pleased to know a good chunk of it in our mineral rights!) As more domestic vehicles move to CNG and LNG we're going to be awash in domestic energy. And it is because the oil companies took huge risks. Not because some bureaucrat gave them cash as has been done with Solyndra and GM.
