It is true that oil companies traditionally take the heat. Of course they make a lot of money. There are five of them selling virtually all the oil products in the entire Western world. You would think they would make more than they do.

But I think Romney will point out that gasoline prices have doubled, probably tripled by election day -- because of Obama's pathetic foreign and domestic policy and lack of any cogent energy policy.

Gas prices hit people in the pocketbook and they are going to look directly at Barack Obama about that.
