The important thing is there is tons of US oil that evolving technologies will make economically accessible. Shale oil is not really the same as typical crude.... the per barrel price will have to remain north of 100/barrel....of course the oil companies will see to that......we have a station selling regular for 4.10 right now....


You're confusing "shale oil" with "oil [from] shale". These are two entirely different things.

"Shale oil" is Kerogen.

"Oil from Shale" is highly desirable crude which is extracted from tight formations (via fracking & horizontal drilling techniques) that even 5 years ago nobody really knew how to get to. It is a big deal.

What's really weird is I am almost certain we had this same conversation a couple months ago. Are you having trouble?
