Horse shit!

NG has a long ways to go before usage in automobiles and we keep finding more and more oil in the USA.

What's stupid is to decide (at the government level) which is the better fuel and not allow all forms of energy to compete - the market will pivot to new sources as they become viable and cheaper.

Current gas prices at the pump in the USA are higher due to a lack of refineries not entirely per barrel prices.

Why are you afraid of energy?

The rest of the world is adapting to new energy and using less and THAT makes them more competitive.

At least for the present alternative energy sources make them (and us) less competitive not more.

To obtain natural gas, you drill for most of it. The ones against drilling our your precious best Obamatron friends. Obamatrons are addicted to stupidity, because they refuse to understand the most basic principles of where energy comes from, who is preventing it from being extracted, and how it is obtained.
