Bobby, in some ways we would be better off if the CB's dumped all of their gold on the open market in say a six month period thereby pushing the price down to ridiculas levels to the point where people would buy solid gold salt & pepper shakers and bathtub faucets.

Once the CB's gold is gone the mines can operate on a level playing field. Their only threat then would be if aunt Millie decided to melt down her salt & pepper shakers and buy a Honda with her homemade nuggets.

Hi Bobby
Try to picture this ,Gold just another commodity.
In the future someone showing off their engagement ring."Its a real
diamond set in 99.9 % pure lead.
Or its our lead wedding anniversary.
Or Carl Lewis just won tin.
My point is the CB's have to convince the world that gold has no value.
It ain't gonna happen.
