You're right Jorj, but it goes even deeper than that. What democrats did was create a project of a size and magnitude that no one could have imagined. They coalesced into a giant fund raising, get out the message organization that is bigger than anything seen in modern politics. It's called the Democracy Alliance, and Media Matters and there are thousands of little offshoots all across the country that use the tools avail through those large orgs. If Republicans want to supplant democrats, they need to become even larger and more organized. BO didn't become a community organizer by accident. It's all about organization.
