I was sitting at breakfast with MM and a liberal from Mich a couple of weeks ago and he was telling us how awful Christopher Columbus was towards the native population.............repeating the same old litany of falsehoods the left loves to tell. I looked the guy straight in the eye and said I didn't believe one word of what he was saying and MM backed me up by saying CC didn't do anything to them that they hadn't done to themselves and others.

The entire conversation ended there.

We have to stand up to these folks or they will continue to own the narrative and steamroll us.

Al looked abashed and said, well yea, that's different. It shouldn't be free.

Nothing is free - somebody pays for it. I think even including birth control in any health care plan is ridiculous. Should tooth paste and floss be provided free of charge? The other aspect is that the ultimate cost across the plans will be higher than if everyone just purchased them on their own. Our president has $hit for brains.
