I didn't have in mind the Church. I had in mind the religious right. I have no doubt such a win would strengthen and embolden it.

An actual theocracy, no, of course not. Nor in the long run. Mostly just a return to little kids saying organized prayers in school. I view that in much the same way as you see employers with moral objections having to fund contraception--government imposition of an assault on deeply-held values.
