If talking about default, please keep in mind that Greece has very substantial wealth that can be sold and cover their debt. All that is needed for the Greek people to demand the sale of the privatization of the Greek Orthodox Church properties accumulated or confiscated form the Greek people over the millennia.

The Greek Orthodox Church belongs to the Greek people and not to some religious undemocratic appointed clergy that lives on the expense of the people.

Secondly the pensions of state officials should be substantially reduced to 40% of average wages which average calculation should include also the unemployed. In which country have you seen streets in certain neighborhoods paved with high quality marble? Who paid for that?

Cyprus is a small state with much less resources than Greece, populated by Greek people why is Cyprus not in trouble?

Further I concluded that Greeks do not love their country.

There are many very well off and substantially rich Greeks within Greece and in the world at large no one has taken an initiative to save their country and chip in with funds.

All they have done is only to secure their own wealth, pulled money out of Greek Banks and did not offer a Euro cent to lower the Greek deficit.

The Greek community within the US has not donated officially a cent to save Greece out of solidarity and sympathy.

But we non Greeks all over the world support Greece if trough the IMF or other international financial institution.

THIS IS A SHAME that people claiming to belong the Greek heritage and Greek worldwide community do not get together and try to save Greece.

May be they will blame the other Europeans for that, that no ethnic Greek not living in Greece is not donating his share to keep Greece economy afloat and help those Greeks in economic constrains trough a formal state sponsored institution.
