Steve: I have attempted to do use this strategy but unfortunately the spreads were so wide I had dificulty getting filled. Also options tend to have a mind of their own. Frequently the stock would move dramatically but the option would just sit there. Is this a strategy you use to daytrade often? If so how many positions would you take
down at the same time?

The beauty of daytrading stocks is the ability to enter stop loss orders.
How do you protect yourself against a major downdraft in options?
