To the extent they have no political power As their demands become more unreasonable, they lose support and clout. Then it either stops or regresses to a place where it's stable. But without imposition against religion, you might never have to recover them. That sounds like you think I'm advocating imposing on religion. I haven't and I won't. I fully support the right of anyone to believe whatever he wants and to practice his religion in peace. People's religions are none of my business or that of the government. All the positions I take on religion are defensive, resisting imposition on other people.
