Because they were so angry about 2000 and 2004, they worked really hard and 2008 was definitely a pivotal year for them. That is the year they refined a nuclear strategy, flipped Colo and won the presidency. Because their strategies are so secret, no one knew how powerful they'd become............think Acorn, negative ads, canvassing, flyers, people power..........but I and most of us now understand they will use the nuclear option (identify any and all republican candidate's weakness and attack it relentlessly.......exactly what unclewest talks about) relentlessly. 2010 had to have been a huge disappointment for them as I know they were working diligently on flipping more states. The Tea Party was too much for them and we weren't even that organized.
