btw, i had a question maybe you knew the answer to-- if a company issues a secondary offering of zero coupon convertible notes, as well as shares into which the notes are convertible, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
The company in question is Costco -- just filed for a secondary offering of up to 900million dollars of zero coupon convertible notes due 2017, as well as filed for an offering of 10.2 million shares into which the notes are convertible.
I get confused by convertible stuff, and was wondering what your take would be on this type of filing.
