I wasn't aware of that, but I view Hewitt like I do Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Savage, Beck, Boortz, et al .... They are "entertainers" first and foremost. Some might be sincere, others not quite so much. I appreciate their style and brand of entertainment most of the time, but I never forget they are paid for entertaining and drawing market share (i.e. advertising dollars), and that is the principal reason. The second reason is to sell their books. Interviewing politicians is entertainment (in the sense it draws listeners).
