D2-- anytime CPQ gets around 60 it is a bargain.I think it is cheap now at just under 64. In Jan when it splits AGAIN it should rise. I hope to see the pre-split around 70. At that time they are going to start paying a petty dividend too. Some buyers love those things and hold stocks to use the quarterly income as spending money or for reinvestment. Since the div is small they will hold a ton of shares--- great for keeping the float in check.

With Korea dumping and Japan about ready to sink into the ocean Monday should be the absolute pits. The only salvation would be if Korea does not go down like a brick on IMF news and Japan keeps losses in check with govt promises. Chances of either are slim-- chances on both I would love to give odds on. Actually if we could short both countries like companies for Monday activity we could retire next week IMO.
