The Christmas decorations sure are early this year, you're right!! This impossible-to-ignore visual clue goaded me into doing most of my Christmas shopping at the big Macy's sale yesterday. Unfortunately I never got further than the jewelry counter, and most of the presents were for me, and if I am not careful we will have enough American Express travel dollars accumulated soon to go on a very nice cruise, but still I had a lot of fun!!!!! Whee!!! I struggled down to the garden Friday, the first time since I got the flu, and discovered that the raccoons had an early Thanksgiving feast on my bulbs!!! I don't know if the six, half-heartedly chewed ones were left strewn all over the ground because they were too full from the other two hundred plus ones they found, or whether some have been mercifully spared and will shoot out of the ground in the spring. In any event, if they do they will be much appreciated!!!!!!! Do you have wild animals there that love bulbs, Mephisto? I wonder if deer eat them, as well.
