Okay... but I never said that driving isn't a necessity for most people, I said that some people do not drive and therefore they are not required to buy any auto insurance... driving is a choice, it may be a necessity to many but it is still a personal choice, it is not a federal government mandate or else face the penalty or prison... BTW, oil companies make a penny or two per gallon at the pump, the federal government makes 58 cents per gallon, so who is doing the gouging? But, yes, we could go round and round, not worth the effort on this thread...<g> GZ
