Nasty situation. A lot of friends here knew Jim Jack well. They are grieving.

Personally, I have not gone out of bounds yet this year.. nor do I intend to.

Friends of ours in Juneau owned a helicopter company. They flew some snow boarders up to some snow fields, and before they got back to base the snow boarders were already dead from an avalanche.
