I think Obama needs to try and come up with an alternative health care plan to have ready for if & when the courts rule this his illegal and it should try and combine some of the features of the Republican plan with some of the best feature of the Universal one--portability and affordability--without making it compulsory. Possibly one of the best way of doing this is to offer Federal money to states that voluntary adopt "universal type" plans. I just don't see a way forward with the present plan with so many states opposed to it. Business leaders should again be consulted as they want out of employer sponsored health plans.
