can't judge someone by one single act,

Would be nice if it was just one single act. It's not the single act of leaking the information. It was a continuous act that went on for two years. Two years during which Bush and everyone else was begging those responsible to step forward. He kept quiet for TWO years. The result is that Libby was convicted, sentenced to 30 months and had to pay a fine of $250,0000. HE WENT TO JAIL for something he didn't do. He also was disbarred and can no longer practice law. He had his life and career taken away from him.

NONE of that would have happened if Armitage had stepped forward and done the RIGHT thing. He kept quiet and didn't admit what he'd done until after all the damage and one person's life was ruined.

He's not being judged by one single act. He's being judged for TWO whole years of willful lying by omission and standing by while another person's life was ruined. That was one hell of a single act.

It's not a may have or may not have done case. Armitage ADMITTED he was the leaker - but only AFTER all the damage was done.

He may have appeared as someone nice to dine and drink with. The facts are facts. He did what he did and then he kept quiet about it - just about as big a coward as anything I can imagine. To me, he's a proven liar and coward - that's what Richard Armitage is. Sorry you feel differently - not an attack on you.
