I'll grant you that, for sure! However, I wonder how much of it was done under the guise of "getting along", "cooperating" and all the other "stuff" that passes for good governance these days. Plus, I think we are going to have to be more specific as to which Repubs voted for what measure, and which ones didn't...

i.e. The newest thing is the Dems are blaming Bush and the Repubs for the failure of the Keystone Pipeline.....What is the truth?

Met a lady up at the local Starbucks this afternoon....Thought a fire and a Tall Americano might hasten the demise of this cold before tomorrow..... Lady about 50-60 was there...we got to talking, and somehow she brought the conversation over to how the "current president was just wonderful, and how the previous one was so terrible....the war and all...and no money for the war, and the total collapse of the money, and the lack of jobs, etc etc etc...."

She didn't believe me when I told her this has been going on for many years, and both sides were at fault, and have spent too much money. But that this President has gone the extra three miles and over spent by TRILLIONS.....She just couldn't believe that was true.....but then again, she doesn't like Fox (doesn't watch it) and doesn't pay any attention to the right wing blogs (couldn't name any) ....

She couldn't believe the Repubs were dumb enough to have these 4 candidates....certainly when compared to our present wonderful President. She hoped Santorum won the position...said he would lose for sure. Scoffed at Ron Paul, and pinged both Newt and Romney.

I asked her what she does as she had to go back to work....She works at a tech company, going over mortages that are in the red....

She said "you probably won't like this, and I don't either, but we are seeing fewer underwater mortages, which means I won't have a job, and you Repubs won't have a campaign issue".....................................

She was nice enough, but I can guarantee you, we wouldn't be friends....The pesudo-elite are really something else sometimes.....

Trust me, we have our work cut out for us..... She votes. As do many like her who feel the same way. We need some really good ads spelling out what got us here in the first place. No lies. Just the truth.
