Yes.............saw the "after episode" and learned a lot right there as I didn't watch the first season either.............darnit. And totally agree about the man who plays Bates as well as most all of the other main male characters.......well except Mr. Carson who is not my type. gg And agree about Sir Richard Carlisle but like all of the characters, the actor played his role very well. What I don't understand is the relationship of Mathew to the Crawley clan? How can he and Mary be wed if he's the rightful heir. Wouldn't that fact make him her brother? In order to understand all of these details, I need to see the 1st yr too.
