Do you think Sir Richard is behind the wife's death? What an interesting idea. I hadn't even considered it. I just can't see his motivation unless it was to have something more to hold over the family. But what did Bates ever do to him? Certainly Bates didn't kill her, so that leaves a big question. Who, then? I can hardly wait for next season. I've saved every episode and see something new every time I watch it again.
