The only problem with the golden rule is when you run into a busybody who thinks interfering with your life is following the golden rule.

Have you ever met a busy body who wants others meddling in their life? Of course not! the whole reason they meddle in other people's life is so they don't have to pay attention to or take responsibility for their own. In other words, they certainly don't live the golden rule.

Simple acid test: "do I want other people meddling in my life?"......"no". Ok, so I won't meddle in other people's lives.

Do I want the government to take my money?.....No....ok, so don't ask the government to take other people's money.

Do I like it when my neighbors play their music really loud at 2am?....no! so I don't play my music really loud at 2am.

etc

etc

etc

The golden rule truly is magic....if people actually live by it.
