"In 20 years this debate will be academic."

yep just like the global cooling scam of the 60s and 70s. By the way what happened to that scam ?

Maryland and VA have some very big research institutions. They are much closer to federal money.

But in 20 years will we be able to do anything about it to reverse course? According to Climate Weather Scientists we are just on the cusp of a massive methane release from the melting arctic tundra permafrost and the methane hydrates lying on the arctic seabed. Once ocean and permafrost temperatures reach the requisite melt point how will we ever get the genie back in the bottle?

"Doesn't matter. In 20 years this debate will be academic. Just as in the case of tobacco, evolution or the heliocentric theory, the weight of scientific evidence will eventually prevail. "
