I guess I'm going to have to watch the last 2 episodes again to see if there's ANY hint as to who could have killed her. Anna? Now that's an interesting thought. Except, I think she'd step forward and admit it knowing he'll spend the rest of his life in prison. She was going to leave and go to America when she thought he was going to be hanged.

No, no. It was not in Bates' character to have murdered her. I am convinced he is innocent. Anna never did. It could have been a random occurrence, too.
