I will put that on my calendar. The only reason I wouldn't be able to go is my youngest and his wife may be going to Italy on business in May (not sure of dates) and they have asked us to watch our grandson part of the time they'll be gone.

It sounds like yesterday was a WOW day all the way around, and the luncheon setting sounds divine. Glad you weren't dragging because of the cold. I have to say the otc meds these days are really advanced. We're so lucky to be living in this time and place. I met a man last night at our TP meeting who is a career Air Force Meteorologist. He has spent a good deal of his adult life overseas and he couldn't say enough about how lucky we are to live in America. He relayed some of his experiences while working in Kosovo and also Afghanistan and Europe and said there is no place like the U.S.A. He said he loves learning about different cultures and habits and traditions and that everywhere he goes people clamor to learn about America and many want to come here because of our freedom. He said "we are like an island and there is nowhere on Earth he's been that compares." It was a rather sobering discussion.

Our TP meeting was a roaring success last night. I hadn't ever moderated such a large meeting, and besides a few mistakes.............like forgetting that a really nice young man who at the last minute asked for a few minutes to speak to us about his candidate Rick Santorum and having to squeeze him in...........the meeting was great. Dr. Coday was articulate and very knowledgeable about the Constitution and was forced to go over his time because of all the questions from the attendees. And the gal from the Freedom Foundation was great. Our state coordinator was also there and helped wrap the meeting up at the end and told the audience things I'd forgotten about. I was grateful for his support.

Quite a few of us stood around and chatted and the next thing we knew the librarian had to tell us to leave as the library was closing lol, so I got home rather late and haven't had a chance to watch the debate. I'd be interested in your thoughts about how it went.
