Kugler, your point is stupid. Morgan sat on the release announcing the ten mil', because he wanted to have it in the bank first. He's well aware the company is under scrutiny. He told, probably anyone who asked, ...well, almost anyone, he won't take YOUR calls....that the 10mil' was happening from what he could see, but won't announce it until its' a 'done-deal'...some 'insider' info. Maybe if you didn't alienate the guy w/ all your BS, you could've gotten the same info., Pugs

Before you go off half cocked, I've never spoken with Morgan on-line, on the phone, etc. There's no daily update.

Can you answer my questions? please?

What's insider info? How is it transmitted? Is there a definition or is it something viewed after the fact.

Is there a sanctioned vehicle for dispersing "material" information? A specific news service? Over the phone is apparently no good, by your current definition.

By the way, as I stated previously, 20-20 hindsight says this wasn't, based on the stock price, material. Tough to make a case when the price is lower. ;-)

We all knew that the merger/acquisition was conditioned on a cash infusion. Knowing that the deal was done before being announced to the public, gives a select few an opportunity to capitalize before a formal annoucement. This is very questionable IMHO.

Serious question: How is the phone conversation referred to in post #17254 any different from companies sending email and/or faxes of upcoming news releases to shareholders?
