not funny at all. my wife actually urged me to sell everything out at the low base upon the advice of her guru who used to be an analyst. I ended up having to sell a bunch of stuff that i really didnt want to. My cash portfolio is still up over 50% since then so that decision ended up costing quite a bit of money.

OT I listened to several hours of talking heads on the financial shows and I was happy not to hear a single mention of silver and that it had moved back over $35 which i consider to be very important. Of the commodities they seemed to be focused largely on oil and to a lesser extent gold.

I listened to meg whitman of Hewlett packard. I was singularly unimpressed with her. they made a big deal of taking away executive offices and giving them cubicles instead. Not a shareholder and not likely to become one either.
