Sonds like good advice, thanks. As a short term or position trader, I have been sticking with stocks that trade 25,000 shares per day or more. I have invested in stocks that trade under 25,000 per day.

I think I see what you mean. I own a stock that trades about 10,000 a day or less. I plan to hold the stock for several months. The MM's keep a wide spread on this one. They suck up the stock cheap at 22-1/8 and sell it for 23-3/4 or 24-1/4. I guess they can do that because the stock is thinly traded. The stock does not move too much from day to day.

Thanks for the help. I will realign my screening software to focus on volumes of 200,000 or greater.
