Trey: TI will license standard DMT to anyone. The trick for Westell is to acquire IP in layer-2 and layer-3 which will differentiate their products from the other end-to-end equipment makers. Once Westell acquires this IP, let TI/AMTX program it into the DSP. Modem pooling, which isnt' standard, is just one idea. Westell wouldn't have to license that IP at fair value to other companies.... until later.
