I would have loved to see a split for short term action, but that's exactly the commotion that Apple probably wants to avoid. Anywhere near $500, the stock is still undervalued. I don't know that it will ever trade at 20 PE, but it could still hit $1000 in 2 years with a 10 PE and $100 in earnings.

By the time the next iPhone rolls around, Apple's 5% market share from 2011 should be closer to 10% this year. They need contracts with China Mobile and DoCoMo to get past 15% next year. They are already on pace to sell about 150 million iPhones this year, which would be about 10% market share for all cell phones. It's just a function of time before they start outselling Nokia and Samsung every quarter. They are just missing the lead carriers in Japan and China to pass Nokia and Samsung. It wouldn't hurt if they got a contract with T Mobile in the US too.

The iPhone is doing very well with only 30% of the global wireless companies signed up so far.

My uninformed target: $1024

Or was that my uniformed target?
