----------Off Topic------------------------

The practice of forced abortions on women is abhorrent
and evil, and this is only one issue. Democratic countries don't force women to abort
children that they wish to have.

Dwight, agreed. To bad we ALL can't have SOME more adoption of the many already here left to die (waste not want not at least?), not able to buy more autos, produce more annual tonnage of waste-(me admittedly part of this-who am I really to say-forget it.)

DK:
When you talk about forced abortion you got to understand what it really means. I remember when I was in the US I heard that some women
had to do abortion because they can not afford additional children. So,
to say it in another words, those women are forced to do abortion due
to economic reasons, because the government will not compensate them with
$1000 dollars per month to raise the child. SO , those women are forced to do abortion due to economic reasons. So , if the government
really care about human right (human right of the mother and the children), it should set up a fund at any cost to compensate each unwanted children due to economic reason $1000 per month to make sure
the child will survive. Why the government did not do that? because
it is not affordable in real world. This is the same thing for China.
Previously, the Chinese government took care of a lot of things of regular families, which includes foods, housing, utility, traffic, education, with
population growth too fast(1.4B now), the government can not afford either. If the growth of population continues to explode like it used to be ,then
everybody hurt economically, because more people will share the limitted resources. I think you will probably force your wife to do
abortion if the number of your children reach to the limit which you can not afford economically , am I right ?

As to whether China is a firm communism or democracy , it really does not matter, it just a matter of name. You can call yourself a democracy but exercise the policy of communism, or called yourself a communism but exercise the democratic policy. We already see this phenomina in many countries of the world, like Russia, most countries in the South American , Middle East, Taiwan, you just think carefully, which ones fit which, i.e call itself a democracy but exercise the policy of communism, or call itself a communism but excrise the democratic policy.
I think when people look at things, it should study not just the surface, but also the inside, otherwise it will be fooled easily !!!!
