Romney-Santorum should be the ticket. It brings the party together with the winning combination of a competent businessman and a VP who keeps the most conservative GOPers happy. i've listened to santorum enough to know what he is. he's a big government guy. he just doesn't know that he is. he would be a disaster as president. he thinks he has a right to inflict his personal morality on others by force of government. and that IS big government. of the four contenders, he's the worst.

My bet would be that there will not be two guys from the northeast on the ticket.....you still need a good turnout in the south and flyover country to win.....and no offense intended, but what plays well up in that corner is not normally overly red hot in the rest of the country.
