"As I keep saying, the top atmospheric scientists feel they know a lot about what is happening and unless we know what they are talking about how can we challenge them?"

Don't you get it, koan? They are counting on that......

You're probably right that the top scientists do know what they're talking about.

I don't know what they're talking about and not prepared to accept their premises for further funding on faith.

The climate cannot be held back or changed by human efforts.

It is abominable ignorance to believe climate can be altered up or down.

"Government has become ungovernable; that is, it cannot leave off governing. Law has become lawless; that is, it cannot see where laws should stop. The chief feature of our time is the meekness of the mob and the madness of the government.

No society can survive the socialist fallacy that there is an absolutely unlimited number of inspired officials and an absolutely unlimited amount of money to pay them.

Eugenics asserts that all men must be so stupid that they cannot manage their own affairs; and also so clever that they can manage each other's.

Without education, we are in a horrible and deadly danger of taking educated people seriously.

atmospheric scientists feel they know a lot about what is happening

They feel something, is that now the standard of science? Show me the experiments. Show me evidence. Unlike extremists on both ends, I am open to persuasion, but neither side makes a convincing argument.
