Hi Zeev, >>Of course, the nimble amongst you will remember that the day before a long weekend, the market has a small seasonal strength, but I know you do not care too much about those small blips on the radar screen.

Personally I don't think history will prevail next week. I can not remember in my life time a situtation like we have today in Asia. What I mean by this is an offshore crises this large. Maybe my father (born in 1904) could fill me in but he is not with us anymore. I think the question is; how is the herd going to react.

Do you understand why the Brits are so concerned with the Yamaichi problems and no one in the states is being covered by Reuters?

You were probably right I should have shorted MOT on Friday.:-)

Joan

Zeev

An enlightening account of visits to other threads. I have a recording of a ("contrarian?") song called "The Bad Humour Man" and it sounds like playing of it should precede your appearances at other threads. Well you know the routine with "the messenger."

As for who first told the story of the young liberal, lets just write the confusion off to Pompidou and circumstance.

Zeev, and others to numerous to name,

I came across an interesting brokerage which will denominate your deposits in an amalgamation of 20 currencies (if one so desires).

marktwain.com

It's off topic but you guys are the only ones I know who are savvy enough to appreciate it's merits (or lack thereof).

You guys are firing on all cylinders. Way to go.

Mark

PS: Zeev, excellent point about the denomination of liabilities vs assets.
