I ditched Berk this week did not like the fact Buffet believes IBM buybacks are a better investment for Berkshire than buying his own company. Very disappointed in the # of shares bought by Buffet and his IBM reasoning. If IBM is the best investment for Berk then Berkshire clearly does not deserve its past avg on book value so I said by for now. Looks too much like dead money for another year. I am starting to get back into commodities I started some knew positions in a few coal names today ANR and ACI they both are trading well below book and near there lows last reached during the financial panic. Unlike most I get very excited when a stock is sinking and it would be very hard to find 2 sectors as hated as NG and coal. So, I am starting to get back where I am most comfortable! Read a little on the guy I don’t like much and looked @ his agriculture fund not impressed with his returns or holdings in his fund, but I do like his monthly commentary he puts out, so every now and then I will take a look. Natural gas and Coal stocks have been left for dead looking to get more money in these areas along with some agriculture names.
