All -

I'm not sure it was who brought up the rumor of Nomai negotiating a license to produce Zip media. But I wanted to point out that Kim Edwards has stated repeatedly that Iomega will not grant such licenses. He has said that other companies will be licensed to produce drives, but not disks.

After all, the whole Iomega business model is designed around the concept that the bulk of the profit is in the disks.

So I would not expect Iomega to license Nomai to produce Zip disks, and I would not consider it good news if they did.
