You're absolutely right, GZ. I'm happy that I chose to disconnect my tv service years ago. My only regret is not doing so much sooner in life.

Reading and viewing selected content online is so much better. I much prefer and enjoy reading and watching astronomy, history, and science documentaries online, uninterrupted by obnoxious multicultural commercial content and other messages with a disturbing political and social agenda.

Likewise, my wife and I watch a single episode of an old program from the 1940s, 50s, or 60s each night on our big screen tv before bed. We will occasionally watch an old movie from the same era as well. The acting, the stories, and the dialogs were so much better back then. Modern denizens can have that PC bullshitzsky that Hollywood and the government shoves down everyone's throats these days. It's all a con that documents the collapse of civilization if nothing else. No thanks! I'll just say NO! -g-

I still like to research programming and learn who sponsors that sick shit so that I know which products to avoid when I'm out and about and decide to pull out my wallet. That's the best leverage against the bastards; simply close the wallet to those who think and behave like uncivilized undesirables and open it to those who think and behave like civilized desirables. -ng-
