Actually, this is in fact quite terrible. What he supposed to say: "Good Lord! The only thing to do now is sell your stocks and keep all your $$$(Yen) in your mattress!!" He's probably just trying to sooth the people as their largest banks crumble around them. What's amazing is that this is such a shock. With 2 failures in the last month and the situation getting worse, it probably isn't safe to say that we've seen the the worst of it. I hope I don't sound like I'm shooting the messenger (or whatever the saying is). Thank you very much for posting. However, it seems clear that we're in for quite a ride.

Early last week I was kicking myself for getting in to a strangle and not just buying Dell calls outright. Now I wish I had bought more puts. Don't get me wrong. Earnings will still be great, however Dell price movements will be exaggerated with all of the excitement surrounding earnings.

P.S. I'm here for strictly educational reasons and don't get involved with the Thread vs. McNabb thing, however I'm just as curious to see how people react to McNabb if he makes $$$ as I am to see what Dell does on Mon & Tues. Maybe I should start taking bets like Pat.

Ted

P.S. Check this out. It's wordy and dramatic, but well worth the 5 minutes it takes to read. Subject: Japan crisis. Good night.
